1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of Hawasana Catering ("we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
Hawasana Catering provides authentic Afghan cuisine catering services including:
- Wedding catering and special events
- Corporate catering and business events
- Private parties and celebrations
- Custom menu planning and consultation
- Full-service catering with setup and cleanup
- Dietary accommodation and special requests
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Reservation Requirements:
- Advance booking is required for all events
- A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your date
- Final guest count must be confirmed 72 hours before the event
- Menu selections must be finalized 1 week before the event
3.2 Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made 30+ days before event: 50% refund of deposit
- Cancellations made 14-29 days before event: 25% refund of deposit
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before event: No refund
- Force majeure events may be rescheduled at no additional cost
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing:
- All prices are subject to change without notice
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from date of issue
- Prices include food, basic service, and standard setup
- Additional services may incur extra charges
4.2 Payment Terms:
- Deposit required to secure booking
- Final payment due 7 days before event
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- Late payments may result in cancellation of services
5. Food Safety and Allergies
5.1 Food Safety:
- We maintain the highest standards of food safety
- All food is prepared in licensed, inspected facilities
- We follow all local health department regulations
- Food is transported and served at proper temperatures
5.2 Allergies and Dietary Restrictions:
- We accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies
- Please notify us of any allergies at least 1 week in advance
- While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee allergen-free environments
- Guests with severe allergies should consult with us directly
6. Service and Setup
6.1 Service Standards:
- Professional, uniformed staff for all events
- Setup and breakdown included in full-service packages
- We provide all necessary serving equipment
- Staff arrives 1-2 hours before event start time
6.2 Venue Requirements:
- Client is responsible for venue access and permits
- We require access to kitchen facilities or power outlets
- Proper waste disposal facilities must be available
- Parking access for catering vehicles required
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability:
- We carry comprehensive liability insurance
- We are not liable for events beyond our control
- Maximum liability limited to the amount paid for services
- We are not responsible for venue-related issues
7.2 Client Responsibilities:
- Client is responsible for venue and guest behavior
- Client must provide accurate guest counts and dietary information
- Client is responsible for any damage to our equipment
- Client must ensure venue compliance with health regulations
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, and recipes, is the property of Hawasana Catering and is protected by copyright laws. Reproduction or distribution of this content without permission is prohibited.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or other unforeseeable events.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where our services are provided. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to Terms
